The Veneto wine region is in the north-east corner of Italy and the Prosecco DOC Consortium govern the rules for making prosecco.

In May 2020, the consortium approved the production of DOC rose prosecco, paving the way for Adria Vini to start producing this lovely wine.

Using carefully grown and nurtured grapes from around the town of Treviso, this wine comprises of 90% Glera grapes with 10% of Pinot Noir added to give it the pink colour and flavour.

To ensure the finest balance between aromas, flavours and acidity, the grapes are hand harvested at their optimum ripeness. A very gentle pneumatic pressing is followed by slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel. A second fermentation takes place inside pressure containing tanks, where the wine spends 2 months on its lees and becomes sparkling.

Producer Information

Established in 2003, Adria Vini is a winemaking venture jointly owned by Boutinot and Araldica Castelvero, the leading co-operative in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte. Their aim is to produce authentic, well-priced wines from local grape varieties.

Grapes are sourced from a range of private growers and cooperatives with each plot of land being carefully selected and assessed, parcel by parcel, before being accepted for winemaking.

The winemaking process is meticulously overseen by Araldica’s winemaking team, assisted by a representative of Boutinot.

Wine experts say…
When served chilled, this wine is everything you expect a rosé prosecco to be. It opens up beautifully with aromas of strawberries and raspberries and the palate simply fills with fizz. It’s definitely worth keeping one of these on standby, ready for company!
